John A. Rees is Associate Professor of International Relations, University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA), and Convener of the Religion and Global Affairs Program at the UNDA Institute for Ethics and Society. John is a published specialist and consultant on the intersection of religion and international policy, an issue that he has been professionally engaged in for twenty years. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of New South Wales and postgraduate research degrees in the fields of theology and ancient history. He is a former educator in the international development sector. John is a Fellow of the Centre for Religion, Conflict and the Public Domain at the University of Groningen, and is on the steering committee of the International Development and Religion Group of the American Academy of Religion. He is the curator of The Religion Gap blog on E-IR.
